Hi, I am Inês.

I spent over a decade as a certified accountant. I was good at it. Numbers make sense to me, systems make sense to me, and I have never once panicked at a spreadsheet. But somewhere around year ten I started to feel like I was spending my best hours on other people's problems without ever really building anything of my own.

So I pivoted. First into real estate, working with investors on the kind of deals that require patience, precision and a decent understanding of how money actually moves. I still do that, but on my own terms now: selective, strategic, and only with people whose projects genuinely interest me.

And then, somewhere in between all of that, I discovered websites.

I did not plan it. I just started building one to see if I could, and then I could not stop. I learned Lovable, learned Shopify, built my own stores and booking systems and email flows from scratch, just because figuring out how something works is genuinely one of my favourite things to do. Not learning something new is, I am convinced, what would eventually kill me on the inside.

I also design seamless patterns on the side. It started as a hobby and it occasionally makes me money, which I will not apologise for. Someone has to pay the bills.

Bea and Kika. My two daughters who are the entire reason I care so much about building something that gives me freedom rather than just a salary. Bea, my oldest, has already announced she wants to be a tourist when she grows up, and honestly I respect the vision. We share a dream of spending a month in Asia together, the three of us. Maybe two months. Maybe three. We are still negotiating.

Everything I build, every pivot I have made, every late night learning something new has been pointed at the same thing: being present, being free, and showing them that you do not have to choose between work you love and a life that actually fits you.
